Our geese are just goslings currently so we will not have geese available until the 2022 breeding season.

Toulouse geese were originally developed in Toulouse, France where they were primarily bred for meat. Originally imported to the United States in the 1850s, Toulouse were popular dual-purpose animals, but they have fallen out of favor due to their dark pin feathers. These dark pin feathers result in a carcass that does not look as clean as a white goose. Despite this, they reach a market weight of 14 to 15 pounds rather quickly and are prolific layers of large white eggs during the Spring and Summer. They can lay between 25 to 50 eggs per year. The toulouse breed is an average forager and quite docile.
